On April 5, 2018, at approximately 8:25 p.m., 39-year-old Joshua Backus was fatally shot in the parking lot of a business located at 5301 Mabelvale Pike in Little Rock, Arkansas. Upon arrival, officers found Backus unresponsive, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
