On Saturday, November 18, 2023, 17-year-old Marcus "Tyshawn" Marbley of Little Rock, Arkansas, was found deceased due to an apparent gunshot wound. The incident occurred at 7101 West 12th Street, where patrol officers from the Northwest Division responded to a shooting call at 7:29 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered Marbley's body on the fourth floor of the office building and secured the area.
