Murdered

On October 3, 2020, 21-year-old Chase Reel was fatally shot during a burglary at his home in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Reel, a junior at the University of Arkansas and a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity, had returned home around 1 a.m. to find an intruder, later identified as 24-year-old Travis Trustin, holding his roommate at gunpoint. Reel confronted Trustin, who shot him in the chest, leading to his death.
