On September 15, 2024, Robert Jerrell Dickson Sr., a 61-year-old resident of Fayetteville, Arkansas, was fatally shot by his son, Robert Anthony Dickson. The incident occurred at their home, where an argument between the two escalated into a violent confrontation.
