A fifty-year-old man, Marcus Cole, lost his life in a shooting that occurred late on the night of June 21, 2021, in North Little Rock, Arkansas. The evening turned tragic when North Little Rock Police Officers were dispatched to the vicinity of 16th and North Poplar Street around 11:44 p.m. following reports of a car accident. Upon their arrival, they discovered Mr. Cole inside a wrecked vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
