On August 9, 2021, 18-year-old Roderick Jamel Hale Jr. was fatally shot at a Citgo gas station on Caraway Road in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The incident occurred shortly before midnight, with police discovering Hale's body near the front of the store upon arrival.

The following day, U.S. Marshals arrested 19-year-old Laroy Starks in Mississippi County, identifying him as the primary suspect in Hale's murder. Starks was subsequently charged with first-degree murder and awaited arraignment. ...Read More
