In the early hours of August 21, 2021, 21-year-old Kindylen Shakur Roberts of Marion, Arkansas, was fatally shot while traveling eastbound on Interstate 40 near the Morgan/Maumelle exit in Pulaski County. A passenger in another vehicle leaned out of a window and opened fire on the car carrying Roberts and another individual.
