In the late morning sunshine of a September day in Little Rock, Arkansas, tragedy befell Adrian Smith, a 47-year-old Black male. On September 21, 2021, at approximately 11:30 a.m., the sounds of gunfire shattered the calm at the corner of West 33rd Street and South Pulaski Street.
