On May 29, 2023, at approximately 11:02 p.m., police in Little Rock, Arkansas, responded to a shooting at the Fair Oaks Apartments located at 9600 West 36th Street. Upon arrival, officers found 30-year-old Dantas Evins and a 17-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Both individuals were transported to local hospitals by MEMS, but Evins succumbed to his injuries.
