In the late hours of a Monday in Little Rock, Arkansas, a burst of violence shattered the night, leaving one man dead. On May 29, 2023, officers from the Little Rock Police Department were dispatched to the 9600 block of West 36th Street following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival at 11:02 p.m., they discovered Dantas Evins, a 30-year-old non-Hispanic male, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Another individual was also found injured at the scene.
