On December 19, 2023, Kian Johnson, a 43-year-old resident of San Antonio, Texas, was fatally shot during a dispute with his uncle, Barry Moore. The incident occurred in the backyard of a home on Laven Drive, where a physical altercation between the two men escalated, leading Moore to shoot Johnson once in the torso. Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene by responding officers.
