On July 11, 2005, in Omaha, Nebraska, 5-year-old Lasandra 'Precious' Coleman tragically lost her life when a bullet was fired through the back window of a car near 29th and Patrick streets. Despite immediate community outcry and the offer of a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest, the case remained unsolved for years.
