In the vast expanse of the Hopi Indian Reservation in Arizona, a dedicated officer's life was tragically cut short on a Saturday in September. Dean Martin James, a 34-year-old male Police Officer with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, was on his way to work on September 17, 1988, when he spotted a familiar figure hitchhiking along the highway.
