In the summer of 2025, on the afternoon of June 29th, the life of 37-year-old Maiko Lopez-Lopez was tragically cut short in a burst of violence. A Hispanic/Latino male, Lopez-Lopez was in front of a residence near the intersection of Broadway Road and Stapley Drive in Mesa, Arizona, when the tranquility of the day was shattered by the sound of a gunshot.
