On March 19, 2021, a tragic incident occurred in Mesa, Arizona, resulting in the death of 19-year-old Garry Anau. The incident stemmed from an argument over a pair of fake AirPods. Days prior to the shooting, 21-year-old Kenyada Bass had sold these fake AirPods to Garry Anau, which apparently led to a dispute.
