In the quiet, gated community of Barrington Estates in Mesa, Arizona, the early morning hours of February 21, 2006, were shattered by the sounds of gunfire and screams. When police responded to the scene, they discovered a horrific tableau inside a Cape Cod-style rental home. Five people had been shot and killed in what appeared to be a brutal, execution-style massacre. Among the victims was 32-year-old Tammy Lee Morehart Lovell, a female who was found with three gunshot wounds to her head.
