In a tragic turn of events on a Tuesday afternoon in Phoenix, Arizona, 29-year-old Chelsee Dennis, a pregnant mother, was fatally shot. The incident, which occurred on April 17, 2018, unfolded while she was in her car near 7th Street and Northern Avenue with her 5-year-old daughter in the backseat. Ms. Dennis was found slumped over the wheel of her vehicle and was rushed to a nearby hospital.
