Mark P. Hummels, a 43-year-old male attorney, was a man celebrated for his intellect and kindness, a devoted husband and a loving father to two young children. His life, however, was tragically cut short in a violent encounter that stemmed from a legal dispute. On January 30, 2013, Hummels was representing his client, Steven Singer, the 48-year-old CEO of Fusion Contact Centers, in a mediation session in a Phoenix office building.
