Death by Force

In the early morning hours of August 30, 2025, a violent encounter in Phoenix, Arizona, tragically ended the life of 28-year-old Malik Savontae Hopkins. Police were called to the scene near 22nd and Roosevelt streets around 7:45 a.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered two injured men, Hopkins and 37-year-old Warren Middlebrooks.
