On December 8, 2024, 20-year-old De’Angelo Black of Nashville, Tennessee, was fatally shot while traveling as a passenger in a Saturn Ion sedan on Interstate 24 near the Silliman Evans Bridge. Prior to the shooting, occupants of the Saturn reportedly had an encounter with individuals in another vehicle at a gas station in North Nashville.
