On October 11, 2024, 29-year-old Franklin Bautista-Ayala was fatally shot alongside 37-year-old Luis Gonzalez-Barajas in Nashville, Tennessee. The incident occurred outside a residence in the 1200 block of Vultee Boulevard, near the Nashville International Airport. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.
