In a quiet home on Mimosa Road in Sumter, South Carolina, a domestic tragedy unfolded that ended the life of 79-year-old Sherri Louise Swoger Redmond. On the afternoon of December 11, 2024, police responded to a report of a shooting and discovered the Caucasian female deceased inside the residence from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The scene held an immediate and primary person of interest: her 78-year-old ex-husband, William Forrest Redmond Jr.
