Death by Force

Brenda Ransom Slater, aged 60, tragically passed away on March 15, 2016, at her home in Rembert, South Carolina. According to reports, her death was the result of a gunshot wound. The incident occurred when her husband, James Slater Jr., called the Lee County Sheriff's Office to report that he had shot his wife. Upon arrival, deputies found James Slater Jr. at the scene, where he confessed to the shooting. A rifle, believed to be the weapon used in the incident, was recovered from the home.
