In the quiet community of Sumter, South Carolina, the life of 25-year-old Keyirra Tatyana Walker, a Black female, was tragically cut short on May 13, 2024. A recent graduate of a pharmacy technician program, Walker was a mother of two and was five months pregnant with her third child. The day after Mother's Day, a family member made a grim discovery, finding Walker unresponsive in her bed at her Carrol Drive home. She had been shot multiple times.
