On the evening of November 18, 2024, tragedy struck a neighborhood in Portland, Oregon, forever altering the lives of one family. Mark A. Holley, a 35-year-old Black / African American male, was in the Wilkes neighborhood when his life was cut short. At approximately 5:46 p.m., officers from the North Precinct were dispatched to the 15900 block of Northeast Fremont Street following reports of gunfire.
