On May 5, 1986, the body of 35-year-old Michael Blair was discovered in the parking lot of the Rose Manor Motel in Portland, Oregon, by a passerby around 6:15 a.m. Blair had been shot to death. He was last seen alive just over an hour earlier at the Semaphore Restaurant, where he purchased coffee.
