In the early morning hours of Wednesday, June 26, 2024, a shooting in the Arbor Lodge Neighborhood of Portland, Oregon, claimed the life of 24-year-old Tracy S. Rasberry. A male of Black or African American descent, his death was later confirmed as a homicide. The incident unfolded around 5:27 a.m. near the intersection of North Atlantic Avenue and North Buffalo Street.
Officers from the Portland Police Bureau's North Precinct were dispatched to the scene following reports of gunfire.
Upon their arrival, they discovered Rasberry deceased. The suspect, or suspects, had already fled the area before law enforcement reached the location. The medical examiner later confirmed that he died from a gunshot wound.
