On December 9, 2024, at approximately 2:27 p.m., the body of 56-year-old Robert Richardson Jr. was discovered in a field near the intersection of Castle Boulevard and Maplewood Avenue in central Toledo, Ohio. The Lucas County Coroner's Office determined that Richardson died from a gunshot wound to the left upper arm, which caused internal injuries, including damage to both lungs, the aorta, and the spine.
