On the night of December 11, 2024, a violent incident occurred in the Bevo Mill neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri, resulting in the death of 42-year-old Jason McClure, a white male resident of the city. At approximately 11:39 p.m., officers from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department responded to reports of gunfire near the intersection of Gravois Avenue and Bates Street.
