On the night of December 11, 2024, a violent incident occurred in the Bevo Mill neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri, resulting in the death of 42-year-old Jason McClure, a white male resident of the city. At approximately 11:39 p.m., officers from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department responded to reports of gunfire near the intersection of Gravois Avenue and Bates Street. Upon arrival, first responders discovered the victim had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
