On August 26, 2023, 23-year-old Robert Green was fatally shot in the 5100 block of Greer Avenue in St. Louis, Missouri. The incident stemmed from a dispute over the sale of a firearm between Green and then-16-year-old Robert Walker Jr. The confrontation escalated when Walker chased Green out of a gangway, shooting him multiple times. After Green collapsed in the street, Walker shot him twice in the head and took Green’s gun. The entire incident was captured on video.
