On August 14, 2018, Dairian Antonio Holmes, a 27-year-old African American male, lost his life following a violent incident in St. Louis, Missouri. The events unfolded in the North City area, where Holmes was subjected to gunfire. Initial reports from the scene indicated that a man had been shot in the leg, an injury that ultimately proved fatal. He was transported for medical treatment but succumbed to his wounds later that same day.
