Mohamed Yusuf Mohamed, 21, a Somali male, was shot on Thanksgiving evening, November 28, 2024, inside an apartment building on the 700 block of Emerson Avenue North in Minneapolis and later died from his wounds. He was identified by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner, which listed his residence as St. Paul and determined the manner of death to be homicide from a gunshot wound to the head.
