In the early morning hours of July 6, 2021, a burst of gunfire shattered the pre-dawn quiet in Minneapolis, leading to the tragic death of 20-year-old Hanad Mohamed Ali. A Black male from the nearby city of Columbia Heights, Ali was with another man in the 400 block of South 15th Avenue when they were approached by a group of individuals.
