On the afternoon of November 22, 2024, in Brockton, Massachusetts, 54-year-old Frantzy Jeanty, a Black / African American man, was fatally shot in his apartment at 125 Pleasant Street. The incident, which authorities later stated did not appear to be a random act of violence, unfolded at approximately 3:23 p.m. Brockton Police responded to a 911 call reporting an unresponsive male with visible bleeding and, upon arrival, discovered Jeanty deceased at the scene from multiple gunshot wounds.
