In the early morning hours of October 5, 2014, the life of 34-year-old Helmae Zewdu, a Black male from Brockton, Massachusetts, was tragically cut short. Zewdu was discovered on Eagle Avenue in Brockton at approximately 2:27 a.m., having been fatally shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
