On a cold Tuesday evening in Brockton, Massachusetts, the life of 15-year-old Terrance Young, a Black male, was tragically cut short. It was February 19, 2008, when gunfire erupted on Essex Street, a sound that would forever alter the lives of those who knew and loved the teenager.
