Manuel Araujo, 21, male, was shot to death on May 25, 1994, in Brockton, Massachusetts. He had driven from Boston to Brockton with his brother, Carlos, and their friend Kepler Desir. At Desir's direction, the group stopped at a house on Owens Avenue to pick up two acquaintances—Russell J. Horton and Frederick Christian—before continuing on together.
