On a Saturday over the Thanksgiving weekend, November 30, 2024, the life of 17-year-old Nicholas Blaze Brooks was tragically cut short in Kansas City, Kansas. The male teenager was discovered deceased inside a parked vehicle near the intersection of North Second Street and Quindaro Boulevard. Officers responded to reports of a shooting around 11:20 a.m. and found Brooks with a fatal gunshot wound. By the time authorities arrived at the scene, he had already succumbed to his injuries.
