In the late evening hours of December 12, 2024, the life of David Bentley, a 45-year-old White / Caucasian male, was tragically cut short in Topeka, Kansas. Police officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of Southwest Stone for a welfare check just before 11:30 p.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered Bentley suffering from a gunshot wound.
