In the fading light of an autumn afternoon in Topeka, Kansas, the life of 23-year-old Bondderrick Sanders, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short. On October 9, 2017, just after 1:30 p.m., Sanders was discovered deceased in the west alley of the 1500 block of SW Western Avenue, the victim of a fatal shooting.
