In the early evening hours of June 3, 2025, the life of 29-year-old Ian A. Mwaniki, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short in Topeka, Kansas. Gunshots echoed through the 700 block of SW Western Avenue just before 8:00 p.m., prompting a swift response from local law enforcement.
