On Labor Day, September 1, 2025, the life of 30-year-old Caucasian male, Cody Bush, was tragically cut short in Topeka, Kansas. In the early morning hours, at approximately 7:30 a.m., officers from the Topeka Police Department were dispatched to the 100 block of Northwest Holman Street following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Bush suffering from life-threatening injuries. Despite the efforts of first responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
