In Topeka, Kansas, the life of Treveon Carrington, a 27-year-old male, was abruptly cut short on the night of May 2, 2025. The evening was shattered by the sound of gunshots in the vicinity of Southwest 13th and Boswell, prompting calls to law enforcement just before 10:30 p.m. When officers from the Topeka Police Department arrived at the scene, they discovered a grim situation. Carrington was found with life-threatening injuries from the shooting.
