In the early morning hours of October 20, 2023, the life of Trevon Donzell Praylow Sr., a 35-year-old Black / African American male, was tragically cut short in his lifelong home of Topeka, Kansas. The incident unfolded around 12:30 a.m. in the 1600 block of SW Fillmore Street, a residential area that would become the scene of the city's 32nd homicide of the year.
