In the early morning hours of November 23, 2024, the quiet of a Jeffersonville, Indiana neighborhood was broken by a grim discovery. Responding to a call, officers from the Jeffersonville Police Department arrived at a residence in the 500 block of Indiana Avenue around 7:45 a.m. Inside, they found the body of 45-year-old James Truman, a resident of the city. Authorities immediately classified his death as an apparent homicide, though the specific cause of his death was not publicly disclosed.
