Tony James Ferguson, a 41-year-old Black man from Meridian, Georgia, was killed on December 15, 2024, after a shooting erupted in McIntosh County during what multiple reports described as a large party or gathering along Georgia Highway 99 near Swamp Road, with some accounts placing it near Palmer Court.
