Matthew Williams-Jacobs, a 21-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on December 17, 2021, in Vidalia, Georgia. On that fateful night, officers from the Vidalia Police Department responded to reports of gunshots in the vicinity of Thompson Street and West Jenkins Street.
