Death by Force

On December 15, 2024, at approximately 10:08 p.m., deputies from the Polk County Sheriff's Office responded to a call at the residence of 32-year-old Gregory Maynard in Davenport, Florida. Upon arrival, they discovered Maynard in his bedroom with a single gunshot wound to his head. An adult woman and a child were present in the home at the time but did not directly witness the incident.
