According to reports, Pritchett had been staying with friends at a nearby Best Western hotel. In the early hours of the morning, he ingested acid, which led to erratic behavior. Around 6 a.m., he wandered into the apartment complex, wearing only shorts and socks, and began acting bizarrely.
