Elijah Johnson, 32, male, Black/African American, was shot on the night of August 12, 2025, outside the Home Suites near the I-4 and U.S. 27 interchange in Davenport, Florida. Deputies responded around 9:40 p.m. to reports of gunfire and found Elijah Johnson on the ground with a wound to his shoulder; lifesaving aid was given before he was rushed to a hospital, where he later died.
