On January 3, 2023, at approximately 6:02 PM, Dallas police officers responded to a reported shooting in the 2600 block of Walnut Hill Lane. Upon arrival, they discovered 35-year-old Clayton Hartfield Jr. suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite prompt medical attention, Hartfield succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
